This is our regular picture sharing evening rearranged from September and is an opportunity for Members to bring along and discuss some of their recent photographs. We are asking for five general images plus five taken on the recent Bushy Park photowalks or during the Jubilee Weekend.

ANNUAL EXHIBITION
The Annual Exhibition is now over and the result of the public votes in both libraries is;-
First – Rosie’s picture Sunrise at Durdle Dor
Second and Third – Gokhan’s pictures Real Shadow and Puffin in Depth Dimension respectively.

FUTURE EVENTS
NOVEMBER PHOTOWALK
Saturday November 19th at 2pm – Bushy Park (Provisional)
Meet 2pm near the entrance to The Pheasantry Café; duration about two hours.
The weather forecast for Saturday is cloudy, cool (9 deg.) and not raining until the evening!
It looks as though there may still be some autumn colours as they seem to be late this year. Will be cancelled if the weather is unsuitable!

DECEMBER MEETING – IN-PERSON
Wednesday December 21st at 8pm – Annual Member’s Competition and Social Evening
The theme or subject of this year’s competition is: “Patterns”. Each Member can submit up to three digital images on the subject / theme and a Judge will select the “best three” images. Members present will vote to select 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
The evening will continue with refreshments, etc. for Members and guests.
There will be a small charge for refreshments; drinks from the bar.

PAST EVENTS
Wednesday 19th October – London Streets: The Monopoly Project by Peter Merry
Peter gave a fascinating talk on his personal project to take photographs to represent all the locations shown on the London Monopoly Board. He described the evolution of the project and the planning involved. He showed a selection of his images and told stories about his “adventures”. Much enjoyed and perhaps some ideas for our own personal projects!
