NEXT MEETING
Wednesday 17th June at 8pm upstairs at the Bell Inn
Jamie Lorriman’s action packed presentation featuring Formula One cars
Jamie Lorriman is a well-known editorial portrait photographer and his work is featured across British national newspapers and magazines. He will be coming in person to talk to the Hampton Hill Photographic Society and will delve into his real passion, that of motor cars, detailing how he started his career taking photographs of karting, and then progressing to photographing the pitlane action of Formula One. Strap in for some fast paced high octane action at this talk.

Non-members and guests are welcome to join us – no need to register but please bring £6 cash payable on arrival or sign up on Eventbrite: https://www.
LAST MEETING (May)
Annabel Moeller’s presentation: “Techniques for relaxed and authentic portraiture”
This was a real treat as Annabel vividly brought to life her perilous trips to war zones such as Afghanistan, Ukraine and Irak and her close encounters with fighters. She got to know individuals, gain their confidence and consequently take great close-ups. She also showed us some completely contrasting images: stunning portraits and beautifully lit dancers. This evening’s format was new for us too as it took the form of an interview between her and one of our members. She also welcomed questions from the whole audience who participated enthusiastically.
