NEXT MEETING – WEDNESDAY 17th APRIL 2024 at 8pm in The Bell Inn, Hampton
The meeting will select images for the SPA May Digital Imaging Competition

Submissions have been collected and there has been a really great response with 11 Members submitting a total of 59 images for Open and 6 Members submitting a total of 32 images for Nature.  This means we have more than met the SPA requirements of a maximum of 3 images per photographer per category, so our entry can go ahead.
Paul Prosser APAGB has kindly agreed to help us with the selection of images.  An experienced judge and exhibition selector, Paul works extensively with CACC (Chilterns Association of Camera Clubs), where he was formerley Chairman and is still on the Committee.  Paul already has access to Dropbox so that he can form a preliminary view and it will be great to have his advice and guidance in selecting our images: he comes to us with “fresh eyes” – no conflict of interest and no knowledge of our work!  Paul will be joining the meeting via Zoom
The SPA Inter-club PDI Championship for which we are selecting images will be held at East Horsley Village Hall, Kingston Avenue, East Horsley KT24 6QT.  Doors open at 13:30 and the competition will commence shortly after 14:00 (following a very short EGM) with a targeted end time of 17:30.  If you have the time, do go along:  it is a great opportunity to learn what does well in these competitions and fun to see your own image scored (anonymously!)
