NEXT MEETING
Wednesday, 17th November – 8:00-10:00 PM
Alan Barrett – “Composition in the Landscape”
Location: ONLINE

Alan Barrett is a landscape photographer, well known on the Camera Club circuit. He took up photography in 1997 when he was approaching retirement and sees himself more as a lover of landscape than a landscape photographer. His talk tonight is entitled: “Composition in the Landscape” and he says that he is not telling his audience how to compose but rather using it as an opportunity to show some varied landscape images using composition as a means of linking them together.

We hope many of you will come along tonight to what promises to be an entertaining and informative lecture.

Members do not need to Register: the zoom link will be sent to them automatically on the day of the event.

LAST MONTH’S MEETING
Wednesday, 20th October 2021
Kathryn Alkins ARPS – Fine Art Photographer
An enjoyable evening with Kathryn who presented her Fine Art skills to the members and guests. Kathryn started her presentation by showing the creative landscape images, taken in North Wales, which made up her successful ARPS panel and the ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) techniques she developed during that time. During the second half of her talk, she showed us the work she has done since, honing her ICM techniques and incorporating them with multiple exposures and the greater use of Photoshop’s creative features such as blending modes and layers to create the final image. This genre of photography is becoming very popular and even has its own Facebook Groups and Online magazine!
