Local photographer Yasi Avon photographs live music performances by individuals or groups, generally playing popular or jazz music. She has kindly agreed to share her work with us on Wednesday. Come along and enjoy something new from this young and talented photographer.
Members are free and do not need to register.

LAST MEETING
Last month we selected our entry for the SPA Clubs Dpi Competition. As you will have seen from my yesterday’s email, the results are now in and we did extremely well, being placed 17th out of 27 Clubs in the Open Category (a significant rise from last year) and 12th out of 24 in the Nature Category (the same place as last year). Four of our images are shown below.

Our monthly meetings continue to be on the third Wednesday of each month at The Bell Inn, Hampton, but the programme for this year is still being confirmed!
FINALLY:
SPA / PAGB Awards
As announced in last month’s newsletter, the SPA is hosting the PAGB Awards for Photographic Merit (APM) adjudication on the weekend of 22-23 November 2025 at Tiffin School in Kingston. Full details about the awards are on the PAGB website – https://thepagb.org.uk/
The workshop originally planned for 24th May has been cancelled, but the printing workshop below is still going ahead.
The Individual Print and PDi Competitions take place on 25th October at the East Horsley Village Hall on Saturday 25th October, uploads by Saturday 4th October – just keep an eye on the SPA Website for more information: Surrey Photographic Association
