SUMMARY:“OUT OF AFRICA”: a presentation in person by John Nathan ARPS
DESCRIPTION:\nJohn Nathan has been to our club twice before and expectations are high for another wonderful presentation.\n\n\nHe says “I am a retired GP and photography has been my hobby for more than 50 years. I have been a member of The Royal Photographic Society (RPS) for 45 years. I have travelled all over the world – and my pictures are of travel with an emphasis on wildlife.\n\nI have travelled to the Arctic and Antarctic, South Africa, Namibia, Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia.\nI have written several articles for the IRIS magazine for the nature group of the RPS.\n\nOne article titled “Out of Africa” was published in the RPS journal in 2008.\n\n\nI have been a member of Tandridge Photographic Society for 25 years and have been a speaker and SPA judge, though I gave up judging 2 years ago.\n\n\nThis presentation will include photographs of the above African countries, and will consist mainly of wildlife, but also churches and architecture and will try to convey a feeling of each country.\n\nI attach two pictures, one of cheetahs in Amboseli in 2007, and one of Bet Giorgis Church in Lalibela, Ethiopia, in 2013.”\n\nNon-members need to sign up and pay a fee of £ 6.00 which will be refunded if you subsequently join the Society.\nSign up on Eventbrite https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/out-of-africa-a-presentation-in-person-by-john-nathan-arps-tickets-1994648087123 ( https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/out-of-africa-a-presentation-in-person-by-john-nathan-arps-tickets-1994648087123 )\n\n
