Who are we?

Home

We are the Hampton Hill Photographic Society. We are a small friendly group of photographers from West London.

We meet once a month when an invited speaker talks about some aspect of photography and shows us their pictures or gives a practical demonstration. See our full programme for details. We have had subjects ranging from Victorian lantern slides to digital imaging. We have even had a blind photographer show us his pictures.

We meet on the third Wednesday of the month at the St James' Church Hall. New members and visitors are always welcome. If you would like to join us, just turn up at the next meeting or download an application form.

In October 2007 we were pleased to have Judy Hicks accept the position of Chairman after our founding Chairman Gerald Cooper retired after 17 years of service. Judy is looking forward to building on the strengths of her predecessor and leading the Society into the future.

Our previous Chairman, Gerald Cooper, started the Society in 1990 with a little help from his friends. We are now members of the Surrey Photographic Association (formally the Surrey Photographic Federation) who are affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain
